28 July 2010 – Market research and insight agency, Kadence International, has promoted former Associate Director Alex Smith to Insight Director within its UK office. The new role will see Alex overseeing client activity undertaken by the UK insight team, as well as assisting in the future development of its offering.
Alex joined Kadence in 2007 as Research Manager with over five years’ experience gained from roles at Millward Brown and Dunnhumby. Working closely with the UK Managing Director Kieron Mathews, Alex played an instrumental role in advancing the insight team from just five to 13 people, and quickly progressed to Associate Director.
Within this latest role Alex will lead the insight team in its project delivery across a range of markets. She will also undertake remote secondment roles for key clients to assist them in ensuring the generation of relevant analysis that will provide an organisation with real meaning and inform its decision-making process.
In addition to her position within the UK office, Alex will continue to work with all offices across Kadence International’s network to encourage knowledge and expertise sharing when directing global research projects.
Commenting on her new position, Alex says: “I feel passionately about generating meaningful insight and uncovering findings that others have missed to ensure successful research projects. I am delighted to be promoted into this new role which will enable me to develop my skills set and experience, while continuing to be an integral part of Kadence International’s evolving offering.”
